Martin Riggs Henderson Leaves Grey's Anatomy
Dr Nathan Riggs recently aired his final season in the hit TV drama Grey's Anatomy.
Martin Henderson is a New Zealand actor who played Dr. Nathan Riggs in the ABC medical drama series Grey's Anatomy. Riggs made his first appearance in "The Me Nobody Knows" and his last appearance in "Danger Zone" and quickly became one of the fans favourite. He is a cardiothoracic surgeon who worked with April Kepner. Nathan Riggs is known for dating one of the hottest woman in the show Megan Hunt, in which he moved to Malibu to live with her. The two later on broke up when Megan found out that Riggs cheated on her. He then started dating Meredith after the two accidentally meet up on a plane and decided to took their friendship further.

"I loved that we were able to give Riggs a happy ending worthy of his character and talent," Shonda Rhimes the creator of Grey's Anatomy stated.
Riggs said he was happy with his character's exit from the show because their was no drama- it was just a new life for Riggs and Hunt. Riggs also said to deadline:
"I would never close the door. In my mind it's been left open-ended enough. It was always a short-term thing and I was happy to spend a few years doing the show. For now, it's about exploring some other areas and I think that suits me. I'm not use to doing long-term things creatively, so for me it's a nice amount of time. If the opportunity came in the future with an interesting storyline, I'd be happy to explore,"
Riggs has been one of my favourite character's in the show and I'm sadly going to miss him on the show. Riggs is all about the drama and ladies, he's also very talented. It's very sad to see great characters like Riggs leave Grey's Anatomy even though he can be a little stupid at times especially with choosing the right lady. I honestly think it's too soon for Riggs to leave, i wanted to see him and Meredith or Megan reunited as a couple.
