Laverne Cox is an American actress and LGBT advocate. She is known for her role as Sophia Burset in the hit Netflix series Orange Is the New Black. Cox is a incredible actress also being the first transgender person to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the acting category.
Laverne Cox goes Vegan
Cox recently revealed that she has been vegan for several months. She took it to Instagram,posting a video featuring her cast member Ruby Rose. "I just have to say that we're both vegan." Cox said. She also tweeted, "Found out today that @RubyRose and I are both Vegan. It's only been 12 weeks for me but I feel so much better. #veganism #TranslsBeautiful #oitnb"
Seems like all the cast members are slowly turning vegan, because earlier this year, Danielle Brooks who plays Taystee announced that she was vegan as well. "Day 10 of this new Vegan life. I made Vegan Pad Thai. Feeling pretty solid about this thang!! w/ onions,carrots,tomatoes, and shallots." she said.
Not knowing why Cox went Vegan, but i hope she have a healthy life and continue to inspire young Vegans around the world.
