Grey's Anatomy Cast Member 'James Pickens Jr.' Speaks About His Emotional Goodbye To Departing Costars.
James Pickens recently opened up about bidding farewell to two of his costars after the season 14 finale of Grey's Anatomy.
"It's always emotional when someone leaves," he told people at the ABC Upfront's party. "They become more than costars, they become family. When you spend nine or ten seasons with someone, that's more than a costar."
Pickens also said that,"In some cases, there are women who have had children during the run of the show and are now raising families."
Pickens played Dr. Richard Webber on the show. His character also appeared in seasons one and two of Private Practice and Seattle Grace.
