If you are a fan of Grey's Anatomy since it's first season then you cannot forget Cristina. Oh was one of the original cast members of Grey's Anatomy who was on the show for 10 seasons, until she decided to leave back in 2014. Many rumors and blogs went around saying Oh Will return to Grey's Anatomy soon until Oh cleared the air. "No, I have no plans to return to Grey's anytime soon." Oh told
ET Canada back in 2016.

William's departure was announced ahead of Sarah Drew's return back in season 17. In the season we saw the reunited of Jackson and April, which provided closure for fans and for their relationship.

When you talk about the most shocking departures of Grey's Anatomy then at the top we have Derek's departure. In his final episode, Derek was rushed to the ER after his car was hit by an large Truck. The team of doctors who was assigned to Derek couldn't save him in time, forcing Meredith to pull the plug. Derek Shepherd is and will always be a fan favorite of Grey's Anatomy and will always be in our hearts.

Drew was written out of the show at the end of season 14. She got her happy ending, walking down the aisle in a surprise wedding with Matthew- her ex-husband, Jackson, all there to witness the happy day. She also decided to leave Grey's Sloan to do God's work and that is to help homeless communities in Seattle.
