The Hollywood star Jesse Williams is returning to the hit medical drama series Grey's Anatomy  as an director and guest star in the upcoming 19th season episode five.

Williams made an exit back in season 17 and later returned with co-star Sarah Drew for the franchise's 400th episode, which was also the finale of season 18.

Drew however will not be appearing in the upcoming hour alongside Williams,  but she spoked about the beloved Grey's couple and the possibility of revisiting them in the future. 

"So many ask me about a 'Japril' spinoff, and Jesse and I have both been very verbal about how much we would love to see something like that happen, " Drew told ET back in September. 

"We love working together.  We love that relationship and any opportunity to get to see them onscreen together more, I think a lot of people would be happy about that," she said. "We'd be happy with that, so we'll see."

Jesse is a fan favorite of the show and I know that many fans can't wait to see him again at Grey's.
