Daniel LaRusso the reason Mike Barnes lost everything?

Mike Barnes made his debut in the fifth season of Cobra Kai. Mike was a known villain in "The Karate Kid III" who bullied Daniel LaRusso but ended up losing to him in the All Valley tournament. Barnes' return to Cobra Kai was a twist; fans thought he would join forces with Terry Silver, but instead he teamed up with Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen to help take down Silver.

After Daniel and Chozen went to pay Mike Barnes a visit, thinking he was teaming up with Silver, they ended up finding out that Mike changed his life and is more focused on his family and his furniture store.

However, it didn't take long for Silver to find out about Daniel going to visit Mike Barnes and burning Mike Barnes' furniture store to the ground, causing him to lose everything, even his wife.

Mike ended up kidnapping Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen and was about to fight, even though he did have a small fight with Johnny, until Daniel explained to him that it was Silver who burned his store down.

Mike joined them to get revenge, and in the end they won the war, but was Daniel the reason why Mike lost everything?

Well, fans are saying that if Daniel hadn't visited Mike then he would have been alright, while some fans think that the writers did an amazing job with the storyline, saying they wanted to see Mike angry and fighting, and that was a perfect way to get him out of his shell.
