After four movies and six seasons, the Karate Kid saga will finally come to an end.

Netflix finally announced that Cobra Kai will return for a sixth season, but that will be the end of the series. 

The creators of the show, Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald, and Hayden Schlossberg, sent a letter to fans saying,

"Our day one goals with Cobra Kai have always been to end it on our terms, leaving the valley in the time and place we've always imagined." So it is with immense pride and thankfulness that we are able to announce that achievement. The upcoming Season Six will mark the conclusion of Cobra Kai. "While this may be a bittersweet day for the fandom, the Miyagiverse has never been stronger."

Many fans questioned whether the show was going to continue, and now we know that there will be a sixth season, even though it will be the end of the show. 

I hope the Karate Kid franchise continues with a Cobra Kai spin-off to keep fans entertained, even though Hurwitz did mention that he "hopes to be telling more Karate Kid stories with fans down the line."
