 Stranger Things 'Noah Schnapp Comes Out as Gay

Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers on Netflix's "Stranger Things," has come out as gay.

 Schnapp posted a video on his TikTok in which he wrote, "When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was 'we know.'

In the clip Schnapp lip-synced a popular audio clip which said, "you know what it never was?" That serious. It was never that serious. "Quite frankly, it will never be that serious."

"I guess I'm more similar to Will than I thought," he captioned the clip, referring to his character Will Byers on Stranger Things. 

 

Many fans questioned whether Will was gay because of how he looked at his best friend Mike and because he seemed a little jealous of El. Will's older brother Jonathan noticed it and tried to speak to him in code. 

We now notice that the next season we might see Will telling his friends he's gay, and he might tell Mike he has feelings for him.
