Robby Keene's hand was out of bounce, but this kick was iconic.

In the first season of Cobra Kai and the final episode, Robby Keene participated in the All Valley Tournament, where he made it to the finals against Miguel Diaz. Robby suffered a shoulder injury in the semi-finals against Hawk and was in pain, but somehow still fought through it, a lot like Daniel LaRusso in The Karate Kid against Johnny Lawrence.

 

A move that stood out was when Robby did the one-handed, two-legged kick that only Mr. Miyagi could do; even Daniel LaRusso couldn't pull this move off, but Robby Keene did it and landed a point. Even though Robby lost to Miguel, that move stood out, and that was the only time we saw it in a tournament. 

 

Another thing that many fans missed was when Robby did the move and his hand was out of the bounce but he still got the point.

So basically, this was missed by the referee but not by fans, even though Robby still didn't win.
