Miguel Diaz is one of the best fighters in Cobra Kai. Miguel is also an All Valley champion and was taught karate by Johnny Lawrence. Miguel mastered Cobra Kai, Eagle Fang Karate, and Miyagi-Do, which makes him stronger than all the teenagers in the show. Robby Keene was the only one who defeated Miguel in a fight, and the reason for that is because Miguel showed him mercy and didn't want to hurt him, in which Robby kicked Miguel over the rails in the school, landing Miguel in a coma. After Miguel woke up out of a coma, he couldn't walk. The doctors said he might never walk again, but with the help of his Sensei, Johnny Lawrence, he recovered and went right back to training.

Many fans think that if Miguel had never fallen, he would be even stronger than he is now, simply because he had to learn how to walk again and regain his ability to fight. Miguel made it to the semi-finals of the All Valley Tournament, where he faced Eli Hawk Moskowitz, another really great fighter. However, Miguel tried a move that caused him to hurt his back. He recovered and could have fought, but instead he left the tournament to search for his father in Mexico. Eli Hawk Moskowitz ended up winning the tournament by defeating Robby Keene.

Which teenager could defeat Miguel Diaz?

Even though Miguel Diaz suffered a bad fall in which he had to learn how to fight again, he's still the best young fighter in the show. Many fans think that Hawk or maybe Robby could defeat him, but throughout the show we saw them try and fail. Miguel defeated Hawk in Coyote Creek training and Robby in the All Valley Tournament. Some fans even say a young Daniel LaRusso couldn't beat a prime Miguel Diaz.
