Netflix announced that there will be season 6 of Cobra Kai, which will also be the final season of the show. The comedy-drama series is based on the 1984 movie The Karate Kid, starring Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso. The franchise is based on a battle in the valley between different karate dojos—the Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do feud has continued and expanded upon the series.

Courtney Henggeler plays Amanda LaRusso in the series, who is the wife of Daniel and mother to their two children. Henggeler is also known for playing the older version of Sheldon Cooper's twin, Missy, in The Big Bang Theory, and she also held roles in the shows Fuller House and Mom.
