While waiting on the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai, the creators have just teased that they’re working on possible spin-offs.
In speaking with Collider, showrunners Jon Hurwitz,Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Healed discussed the future of what they appear to be calling the “Miyagi Verse.”
“We will never give actual closure when it comes to anything. We love working in the ‘Cobra Kai’ universe, so there’s always potential to revisit that world. We’re certainly thinking about other ideas within the Miyagiverse, and it’s only a matter of time before we figure out exactly which direction we’re going. […] We’re really excited about Cobra Kai Season 6. We’re going to go out with a bang, and it’s going to be an amazing experience for fans of the franchise.”
We don't know when season 6 will be released, but we do know that there’s a lot to look forward to in 2024. Terry Silver behind bars and John Kreese out of prison—season 6 sounds like it’s going to be an amazing season, especially with the Sekai Taikai tournament coming up.
