Stingray written out of Cobra Kai Season 6?

Stingray written out of Cobra Kai Season 6

As we know, Cobra Kai season 6 is returning to Netflix on July 18, 2024, and fans are already excited and tweeting that they should wait it over. On July 1st, 2024, Netflix released an official trailer for the show, and in the trailer we saw a lot of familiar faces returning; we also saw Cobra Kai, Eagle Fang, and Miyagi Do joining forces to participate in the biggest karate tournament in the world called the Sekai Taikai tournament. Kim Da-Eun will also be entering the tournament along with her new students, and the infamous John Kreese, who escaped prison, will be partnering up with her. Also, we witnessed Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso about to fight, as well as the two can’t let bygones be bygones and train their students without trying to compete or argue with each other.

There’s a lot more eye-catching moments in the trailer, but what many fans realized was that Stingray was not in the trailer. Stingray was a fan favorite until fans started calling his character cringe and immature, and he needed to be written out.

Stingray is one of the funniest characters in the show and always kept viewers smiling. No news had confirmed whether he will be apart of the new series or not, but fans seem to be judging off the trailer.
