Kwon didn’t deserve to die, or did he?
Spoiler alert!
Cobra Kai season six, part 2, was one of the most brutal and epic seasons of the show. From the moment the Miyagi-Do kids stepped foot into Barcelona, it was complete chaos for the kids. They started out very weak and were getting embarrassed by their new foes but started to find their balance and skills and landed themselves in the semifinals. Cobra Kai’s very own Kwon emerges as one of the biggest threats to their chances of victory and loves to pick on Robby Keene.
Kwon quickly became a fan favorite in the new episodes, even though some fans hate his provoking and cocky behavior; however, the final episode of the season took a dark turn as the entire tournament devolved into a massive brawl with both students and sensei fighting each other, no rules, no mercy. Terry Silver, who has returned supporting his dojo, the Iron Dragons, was rushed by John Kreese, who had a knife that he wanted to use to kill Silver but ended up losing it in the brawl.
Kwon, however, kicked Sam in the chest while she was defending Robby, which led to Axel, the captain of the Iron Dragons, getting angry because he has a crush on her, so he went to avenge her. He kicks Kwon in a bunch of cameras, and Kwon saw Kreeses's knife and picked it up to attack Axel, but Axel kicked his foot, and Kwon fell on the knife, which caused him to die on the mat.
Many fans shared their opinions and thoughts on Kwon's death. Some fans said that his death was his fault because he started the whole brawl to begin with, while others said that he wasn’t nerfed and his character was glazed by fans, and many fans think that his death was very sad and he shouldn’t have deserved to die; they wanted to see Kreese or Silver dying in this season.
The moment we saw that Mr. Miyagi had to kill someone when he was participating in the Seikai Taikai tournament, we knew someone would die but weren’t guessing it to be Kwon.
