As we all know by now, Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, is out now on Netflix, and by now I’m guessing 99% of diehard Cobra Kai fans have already seen it.
Now in today’s article we will be discussing the real Miyagi-Do hero and who should really wear that captain's headband.
Before the fighters compete in the Seikai Taikai tournament, their senseis, Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso, made them fight to see who would wear the captain's headband at the tournament. Robby Keene went up against Miguel Diaz, and unfortunately Robby defeated Diaz and was chosen to lead his team in the Seikai Taikai tournament.
The fighters made it to the tournament and were up against different fighters from different dojos all over the world, and as we know, Robby was distracted by his girlfriend, Tory Nichols, who had left Miyagi-Do to fight for their rivals, Cobra Kai. Robby being distracted caused him to lose fights, and his team was about to face elimination until Miguel Diaz stepped up and gave Miyagi-Do hope and saved them from being eliminated out of the tournament.
Many fans think that Miguel should be the one captaining the team, and also students of Miyagi-Do thought the same as well. We saw a scene where Hawk was telling Miguel that he’s the one that should be captain, and Demetri agreed.
Miguel barely lost his matches, and he’s always taking on 2 opponents at the same time. The only time he lost clearly was against Kwon, who just landed a point on him, and that’s when Robby stepped up and led. Now people are saying that Robby found his form because of the talk Miguel gave him, and if it weren’t for Miguel and, of course, Tory, who told him that Kwon played him, Robby would be getting beat up.
Do you agree that Miguel was Miyagi-Do’s best fighter throughout this season?
